Koherenční optika

The research group deals with the following topics: laser cooling of ions, quantum mechanics and optics with single-ion and Coulomb crystals, optical clocks, time and frequency metrology, design and implementation of electric traps and vacuum chambers for ion trapping, design and implementation of specialized electronics for experiments with cold ions control.

The research group deals with the following topics: ultra-stable lasers, high-finesse optical cavities, optical frequency references based on absorption cells and molecular spectroscopy, optical frequency dissemination through fibre-based and free-space optical links, digital holography for optical surfaces inspection, advanced technologies (custom glass and optical components development, glass-workshop, vacuum technology).
