June 21, 2017, at 5 pm, in the premises of the Literary Café and Bookstore Academia, nám. Svobody 13, Brno, lecture Ing. Tomáš Pikálek, on the topic "Accurate laser measurements of length in the air." The students were introduced to the method that Tomáš Pikálek dealt with in his diploma thesis and this year he was awarded the Werner von Siements award in the category - Best Diploma Thesis. continue

On 14-16 June 2017, the members of the Environmental Microscopy Group of the ISI CAS will participate in an international meeting in order to establish future cooperation in the field of microstructure and chemical analysis of ice, which will take place at the University of Innsbruck.
