Daniel Burda and Jiří Vitouš received the Student EEICT 2022 Award

Daniel Burda, a PhD student from the research group Electron Lithography, Institute of Instrumentation of the CAS, received the Student EEICT 2022 award on 26 April in the auditorium of Prof. Brauner, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Brno University of Technology. Daniel Burda have been awarded a second prize in the cathegory "Microelectronics and Technology" with his paper "Effect Of Al2O3 Barrier On The Field Emission Properties Of Tungsten Single-Tip Field Emitters". The topic is part of the long-term research of Mr. Daniel Burda, led by Dr. Alexandr Knápek, also from the Institute of Instrumentation of the CAS.

Another award winner is Jiří Vitouš, a PhD student from the Magnetic Resonance Research Group, Institute of Instrumentation of the CAS, received the EEICT 2022 Student Award on 26 April in the auditorium of Prof. Brauner, Faculty of Electronics and Communication Technologies, Brno University of Technology.
Jiří Vitouš took the first place in the category "Bioengineering and Bioinformatics" with his paper "Correction of Gradient Pulse Shape Distortions in Radial MRI". The topic falls within the area of research that Jiří Vitouš is engaged in under the supervision of dr.
Radovan Jiřík, also from the Institute of Instrumentation of the CAS.
