MEMBERS OF THE GROUP:
People who risked to be my PhD Students:
- Ing. Pavel Adamec: from 1992.
Ph.D. Thesis "Compact design of the low energy electron microscope
for surface imaging" will be defended on April 1, 1997. Graduate
of Fac. electr. eng., TU Brno. In 1996 he spent 6 months at Arizona State
University, where he worked with Prof. Ernst Bauer,
and made his an electrostatic UHV LEEM that can be put on an UHV
apparatus. In his PhD Thesis (see the abstract,
with images and diffraction pattern obtained) he used my programs for
the computations (see an opinion).
- Ing. Jakub Zlamal :
from Sept. 1996, Thesis submitted in November 2003. Theme: 3D
simulations of electrostatic space charge limited ion optical systems.
Graduate cum laude of Fac. mech. eng., TU Brno (Physical
Engineering). Sample computations with the program can be found on his Web
pages. Finished his studies in 2003.
- Ing. Ivan Vlcek ,
graduate of FME TU Brno, my oldest PhD student since 1998, busy with the
study of the properties of the Wien filter for the separation of signal
electrons in a low-voltage SEM.
- Mgr.
David Dvorák, graduate of Masaryk University, Brno, Faculty of
Sciences (Department of
Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics). – started 1999, left in 2002, project is not finished and
open for continuation.
- Mgr. Martin Oral, graduate of
Masaryk University, Brno, Faculty of Sciences (Department of Theoretical Physics
and Astrophysics). Working part-time in ISI Brno, PhD on computing spot
profiles, started in 2001.
- Ing. Martin Zobac – working in ISI
Brno, PhD on electron beam micromachining started in 2002.
- Ing. Pavel Jansky – graduate of Physics Engineering at TU Brno,
working part-time in ISI Brno, PhD on
simulation of space charge effects in particle beams, started in 2002.
- Ing. Libor Dupak - working in
ISI Brno, PhD on electron beam micromachining started in 2005.
Two
more PhD students work and still hope to do something on particle optics if
their time allows (undocumented).

about my projects or newer on on ISI pages.
