We are pleased to announce the 1st International Workshop on Frontiers of X&XUV Optics and its Applications to be held in the conference room of the Institute of Plasma Physics AS CR, Prague, Czech Republic, on October 26-27, 2015.
Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic recently announced 14 research programs focused on topics of public interest. There belong among others “Systems for nuclear energetics” coordinated by Institute of Plasma Physics AS CR, “Efficient transformation and storing of energy” coordinated by Institute of Thermomechanics, and “Diagnostic methods and techniques” coordinated by Institute of Scientific Instruments, Brno. The announced Workshop represents a kick-off meeting opening one branch of this research in the frame of “Diagnostic Methods and Techniques” public-interest oriented program.
This 1_IW FX&XUVOA is attached to ELI Beamlines Scientific Challenges 2015 meeting (http://www.eli-beams.eu/cs/blog/eli-events/eli-beamlines-scientific-challenges-2015/) that begins on October 19, 2015 and can be extended till October 23, 2015 according to number of contributions. The ELI meeting will be held in the new building ELI Beamlines in Dolni Brezany near Prague and it will combine the conference with a prospective user meeting to introduce the experimental capabilities and organizational support.
