Basic information
There is a possibility to connect to internet by Eduroam in the ISI area. With the Eduroam project user can connect to internet in every institute that is engaged in Eduroam. For connecting you will need an Eduroam account founded in your home institute and configurated notebook (or another device supporting wi-fi).
Connection
The rules for using the Eduroam network are defined in roaming policy (In Czech) of this network.
Access points
In ISI there are operated wireless (wi-fi) access points with technical parameters:
- Identifier wi-fi net SSID: eduroam
- Authentication: 802.1x (EAP)
- Securing wi-fi: WPA2 (also allowed WPA)
- Cryptography wi-fi: AES (also allowed TKIP)
- Internet: IPv4, NAT
- Used devices: Cisco, Hewlett Packard
